Al Qaeda Attempting Nuclear Attack

The Foreign Office said there was "no doubt at all" that Al Qaeda were trying to get hold of nuclear material for an attack on the UK. A spokesman said:

We know the aspiration is there, we know the attempt to get material is there, we know the attempt to get technology is there.

Counter-terrorism officials believe that a large number of attacks are being planned in Pakistan. Hundreds of British men have travelled there for terrorism training and money is also being sent over there.
