Nobel Committee Notices BBC Bias

Prof Lundestad was speaking ahead of the Nobel Peace Prize this year. He raised the possibility of giving the prize to a news organisation that has been accurate in its reporting, on the basis that accurate knowledge of events is a key tool to peace.

He is quoted by The Guardian as saying:

Some years ago, the BBC would have been an obvious candidate because it was the international model for news organisations. Nowadays, it is more debatable."

"We all know about the problems the BBC has had in recent
years," he said, without elaborating.

I wonder what those problems might be.
